I can't find my beloved 200gr Accubonds on line or locally. Normally I could wait but I'm finishing load development for my 325wsm and need to load for Africa. Can anybody give me a link or a lead.

Thanks!

Scott

Check on Bivwak and CALL Shooters Pro Shop.

A local store has 200 in stock. PM me if I can help.

Thanks guys! I found them at Bass Pro. This forum comes through again!

Thanks 6mm!
I really appreciate the offer. I recently picked up 300 and that should do me for final load work up and leave enough for Africa!

You better take a camera with you..........................

Pop,
I've noticed the Africa forum needs some attention and I plan on posting picts and stories from my trip(early May). It's the least I can do for all the help I've received from this forum. Hopefully; I'll recover some of the Accubonds I plan on sending down range  and be able to report even more Nosler success stories!

Muleman I wish you the best of luck in Africa and hope you have the trip of a lifetime :!: What animals are on your list that you would like to get? Just curious about that and what part of Africa you will be in :?: :?:

You will have to tell us in words and pictures when you get back how it went. I would think you could put at least one more checked bag on your flight. :p

I went out calling coyotes this morning and had no luck. Never even saw a dog, but as always, had fun. It was sunny and about 24 degrees. The wind made it tough this morning for calling. One thing made the whole day though besides being out in the mountains and enjoying hiking around. The very first place we set up to call, about 800 yards away we noticed a whole hillside covered with elk. There were at least 300 and maybe up to 400 head in this bunch. They were 200 yards from top to bottom roughly and covered from left to right 500 yards or so. It was pretty cool. Cows, calves, and young bulls up to raghorns. The big ones were off by themselves someplace. Worth the price of admission for sure 8)

Mule Man, I know you said you just got some bullets, but BIVWAK has a bunch of 200gr AccuBond 8mm 2nds on there now. Might be worth a look if you are trying to stock up. Scotty

Thanks Scotty!
I'm always on the lookout for an opportunity - I am considering stocking up.
6mm,
I'm on the way to Namibia! Plains game is on the menu. I'm keeping an open mind and hoping for good luck. My wish list includes Kudu, Mtn. Zebra, Gemsbok, Warthog and Wildebeest among others. The pre-trip planning/anticipation is a lot of fun - 9mos. and counting; only 3 mos. 1 week, 5 days and 23 hours till I'm off ! I broke my 300wsm yesterday- a part on the bolt that I don't know the name of. I'm off to the Gun doctor tommorrow. I may need to bed the action on this one anyhow - thinking of trying it myself. This is the same rifle that I'm having trouble with accuracy. I shimmed the action just to see if any improvement could be had and the groups dropped from 2-5"down to 1.5-2". I may be onto something  I only have about 130 rounds down the tube. It's supposed to be a hand lapped barrel and break in is supposed to be quicker. The barrel is showing very little sign of fouling and I'm thinking that between a bedding job and the barrel settling in I just might be able to make this one a shooter. If not I'll bring my .308 to keep my 325wsm company.
It was nice to read about your day in the hills. I've been an avid bowhunter for 20 years and I always enjoy getting close to animals and observing them. Keep sharing your stories with us all; I enjoy them very much. Thanks for your help and support.
