So far I have tried 100gr of Triple 7 with;

195 Power Belts
225 Power Belts
175 Knight/Barnes Red Hot (sabots)

The 175s have grouped the best at 50yds but groups open up after that... I have a Nikon Buckmaster 3X9X40 with Leupie mounts on it.

I am open for ideas... :oops:

Tom,

All of my ML experience is with .50s, and 100 gr shoots well enough with about any bullet I have tried.

How about dropping down to 70 grains and see how that performs?

I was thinking the same thing, try dropping down some. I use 777 FFG in my muzzleloader and have worked up loads for a couple more muzzleloaders with the same powder. Two of the three liked less then 100 grains. Mine likes 80 grains and shoots 3/4" groups all day.

My Dad's Disc .50 likes T/C Shockwaves and 90 grains of 777 FFG.

You might want to try some other bullets like the Nosler partitions or call up Cecil at... http://www.prbullet.com/ and get his opion. He has some great bullets and has worked up alot of loads in alot of rifles.

Thanks Guys!
Actually by running a patch down the bore after each shot the 175s settled in nicely...see my above post...
