Yes sir! That helps alot! Man, what a rifle. Wait till Brian see's this, he may lose his mind!

Not really needing a 300 RUM, but should something like that come around again, for the right price, I would think about it. It would be a heckuva awesome rifle..

Winchester couldn't have chambered all that many in this cartridge. I should think it is somewhat rare. However, there have now been, what, three pictured on this forum.

What's need got to do with it?

Brian, 'tis a handsome rifle. Undoubtedly, it would fill a deficit in your safe. Then, when you get your Montana, you'll have something to lend to Scotty when hunting Odocoileus virginianus.

The 45-70 and hopefully the new 243 WSSM should be the Whitetail rifles this season. The Montana will get the call for Idaho.

That second one is pretty nice too, the chip in the stock at the front swivel stud is from a bipod, don't ask me how I know

Fotis, you are one of a kind. Excellent work finding what Brian needs to scratch an itch.

Absolutely NOTHING! I agree. If I had been state side when you posted the 2nd one Fotis, I am pretty sure I would have caved. I like the Classic Sporters alot... I would have happily hunted with that rifle!
