Hornady L n' L OAL Gauge

Does anyone know what the thread size is on the Hornady gauge? Is it some strange thread? Metric perhaps? I just came from a local industrial store and they were not able to determine the thread size. I'd like to be able to make my own modified cases for what I need rather than buy them from Hornady...it isn't that I don't want to spend the $6 or so on them, it's because I can't find them!

Thanks for the info Steve. Explains why my 5/16" x 24 die ALMOST worked on the gauge...lol
