Of my rifles, the only one I weighed in so far is my Sako m75 Greywolf 338-06AI with a new #5 24" PacNor barrel- fluted and powdercoated with Sako optilock ring mounts and a Leupold VX3 3.5-10x40 scope @ 9.62 lbs.
Not too far off the weight of a factory Sako m75 rifle in a "V" action size caliber.
And no JD338, I have yet to make it to the range to break in/fireform rifle/brass
. Hopefully this weekend. When I wanted to go out, it turned to -40C again for a stretch.
I recently bought a mint Sako m75ss 22-250 a couple weeks ago and just got the Optilock rings and bases to mount my Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x40AO scope. So now I have 2 rifles to get set up.
