What does breaking ice on puddles, the Norse growing grapes in Norway, and Solar flares have to do with hating anyone :? ??

I took the logical leap from the thread author's religious diatribe to a conclusion about his and his supporters' belief system. While it may not be accurate in every case, I would bet it is in most who subscribe to that dribble.

That the earth's climate is warming is incontrovertible FACT. Whether it results from human greenhouse gas pollution is likely though less certain and, therefore, debatable. That notwithstanding, this is not the appropriate forum to express these views. I came here for discussion of Nosler products (loading data, trajectory information, terminal performance, etc.) and hunting experiences with their products. I stand behind my contention that this thread topic is irrelevant to Nosler and hunting.

#1 bullet... excellent on your part to make us all " think " and not to "push" your beliefs.

#2 I believe that religion has become confused with belief...I'll preface that with that is " my opinion "

#3 I guess I'm going to have to give up shooting all together now that I've read this. I'm fairly confident I've added to the global warming concern with all those hot gasses coming out the end of my barrel each time I pull the trigger.

I am a parent and dread the fact my Son may run into issue such as this through out the education system.

I have read Nietzsche and part of my dissertation "The Philosophy of Proactive Psychotherapy" demonstrated the failure of Nietzsche's philosophical and personal life. Nietzsche in general was a Nihilist with an assumptive unproven rejection of established social conventions and beliefs, especially of morality and religion with no historical or philosophical bases in reality to his claims other than hopelessness. He believed that life was pointless and human values are worthless and that there is no objective bases for truth, so your claims concerning me are by your own definition pointless and have no objective relation to anything that is true. Nihilism believes that all established authority is corrupt and must be destroyed in order to rebuild a just society. That being the case, you should know where that leaves your authoritative comments on this subject and your authoritative opinion of the rest of us. If I were you I would give this thing a rest and reconsider your world-view from all perspectives but please be kind enough to let us rest from your rants. Thank you

I have meet lots of people who say there is no truth, that everything is relavent, and faith is not lodgical. But I have never meet anyone who actual lives by this code.

They all trust bridges, traffic signals, other drivers, etc. Some may reload ammo and even hunt. And a reloading hunter is deninstrating trust, belief in absault truth, or at the very least is extreamly utillizing faith, as too not get shot or blow his own gun up.

No it boils down to justifing your own actions. So my question is why the big blow up and the agreesive defindsiveness? You do not have to answer any posts and talk about taking it and running you went not steps but miles deper than any thing mentioned it the first post.

Please don't respond with a post just think about what I wrote here and please have a good day as well.

Mason is clearly troubled deeply by others that don't believe what he does. In all honesty I feel bad for the guy. He feels betrayed by a higher power and is offended that others don't feel that same betrayal. I have a Sister and an Uncle in the same boat as Mason. They are by and large unsuccesful in life/work/relationships, etc. Not saying Mason is, but they are, and they need somebody to blame. They need a crutch, so they don't have to take the responsibility for ANY failure that comes their way. They don't believe in God, until something bad happens, then it is His fault.

Bullet, I look forward to many more reads like the one that started this thread and encourage you to write more as it was very uplifting and educational.

Nietzsche is a philosopher for the young. His followers usually have no kids, no significant career accomplishments, and are under 30 years of age. In my experience, he seems to appeal most to those wishing to justify a life style at odds with traditional morality, and the responsibility that accompanies it. It's interesting to me how often people grow beyond Nietzsche after they move out of the frat house, get a real job, and raise a family.
