Got home last Saturday from Elk hunting, saw 17 Bull Elk which was great but not if you have cow tags. I have never seen that before but it been a different year.
Now one week later my hunting partner of 35 plus years is in critical condition after having bypass surgery. They had to quit after 4 because the rest of his arteries are very badly damaged.
He never had a chest pain but has been handicapped most of his adult life with a type of muscle disease. Doctor figures that if he wouldn't have had that muscle problem the heart problem would have been more noticeable.
He is the toughest man that I know and that is good because I know he won't give up.
I know the guys on this forum have strong values so I am asking those who will, to say a prayer for him his name is Doug Bosley know to everyone as Bos.

Blessings,
Dan

Dan,

That is a tough situation. I do pray that Doug recovers from this and that you are spared sorrow. May God's mercy be extended to each of you.

Dan,

We will keep Bos in our prayers for a full and speedy recovery.

Thanks guys, there were no phone calls last night so I think that is a good thing.
Hey we didn't get all the game but we still had a great time. We did have success with coyotes never have we seen as many as this year. We took out 10 of them in 6 days and that was only shooting them during mid day.
One thing I know is Accubonds out of my 270 win or out of the 7 are not real fur friendly

Merry Christmas to everyone on the forum and thanks again for your prayers.

Blessings,
Dan

Merry Christmas buddy! My family has your buddy in our thoughts and prayers!

Good job with all those coyotes! Had to have helped a little! Scotty

Merry Christmas Dan, thanks for sharing with us what is happening with your friend.

Sorry to hear this news. We will pray for you, Bos, and all the family and friends.

That is certainly a tough row to hoe having such a good friend going through such trouble. I've lost good friends to cancer and such. May God give Bos healing and you a peace that He is in control.

I hope your friend is resting comfortably with his family this Christmas. I will indeed include him in my prayers

Dan,
You have my prayer support for Bos. God has a plan my friend. Keep your chin up.

Dan, I am always glad to help someone who needs prayers. I hope that Bros has a speedy recovery and can return to his normal life style soon.

Hi Guys. went up to visit Bos yesterday only stayed a few minutes. He is doing really well considering what he has been through. Night before last he couldn't sleep so he got out of bed without the nurses and one came in and started to give him grief. She asked him why he did not call for them and he told her that he did need them and asked her to leave his room :) that is the Bos the best way to get him going is to try and help him most independent guy I know.
The best way to describe him yesterday is like a Bear with a sore behind  But that is good as I just got off the phone with his wife and the only hook ups he has is oxygen and heart monitor.
I want to thank everyone on the forum as the power of Prayer is very important in this world. As man we think that we control everything but I wish we would learn different.
Thanks again as this just shows what good values we as outdoors people have

Blessings,
Dan

It sounds like maybe Bos got the best outcome possible? Maybe the repair that they did do will make his condition somewhat better and get some more blood flowing. It sounds as though he is on the mend, we will keep praying for him. It may be a good outcome that he is up and around now.

That's good news! Seems that he is making progress. Hopefully he'll continue to improve.

When a curmudgeon gets ornery, he is on the mend. Sometimes it is good to be a rapscallion; it betrays the will to live.
