I've been waiting patiently for this setup for a couple years now. Today was quite a reward for all that patience.

Rifle is a Ruger Gunsite Scout in .308 and the can is a Advanced Armament 300TM. The can is all titanium and weighs just 15 oz, and it is rated for 300 Win Mag. It is incredibly quiet. After getting the POI shift figured out, I made the 8" 200 yard gong sing 10/10.

Nice... More and more of my shooting buddies are getting suppressors. I need to do so as well.

I can certainly see the advantages of a suppressor. Pity they aren't legal in Canada. If they were, I'd definitely use one to save my ears and avoid alarming elk.

Nice looking rig, was thinking of getting a can from Thunder Beast for my 300 Win Mag as it is screaming for 1 !

Suppressors are nice. I have one for my .223 and one for my .308. Hope that you enjoy shooting suppressed as much as I do.

Are you shooting subsonic ammunition or "normal" 150gr@2800?

Suppressors seem to be getting more and more common these days. Wonder how long until they get de-regulated? Here you can shoot and hunt with one on a rifle- I doubt it gives much advantage other than protecting the eardrums.

A friend of mine in Europe says they're just part of the landscape and shooting without one is considered "pikey", which I can assume is a bad thing.

Very nice. They will get the lighting strike and never hear the thunder.

I haven't loaded any subsonic 308, I tried with 223 but it was unstable and keyholed the target so I didn't try it through a can. I also have a Specwar 762 which is another 10 ounces heavier. I prefer the Ti can on this gun. I have a 308 AR that the Specwar goes on and it works really well on that platform.
