I think I want one. But it has to be different

Currently have the
Win 94 Pre-64 32 Win Special
308 Sako Finnwolf
444 Marlin. 1895 Marlin

What do you propose?

All three of those are excellent lever guns. I suppose you could try to find a Model 88 .358 or a Marlin 336ER chambered in .356, though you've had a couple of Model 94s in .356. You haven't had a .307 Winchester, to my knowledge. It is an interesting cartridge. There is always a Model 94 in 7-30 Waters.

True. Never had a 307 or a 7-30 waters.....
Hard to get a waters though!

I saw a couple when they were first released in the Model 94, and never seen them again. I did buy some Hornady 7mm 139 grain FN at one point, thinking I'd buy one. Just never happened, however.

Not a bad price at the moment. And it does have the 24 inch barrel, which would make it somewhat more desirable for me. Alas and alack, there is an international border between us, which likely is a good thing for me.

Fotis,

The 7x30 Waters is a cool round. It is well matched to the M94 and the T/C Contender.
My T/C has a 14" barrel and pushes the 120 gr BT at 2400 fps.

You could also consider a 375 Winchester in a Big Bore 94.

Fotis,

The 256 Win would qualify as an "Oddball Lever" for sure.

Yes, that would definitely qualify for your criterion. It would be very interesting.

I had a shot at one BUT it was a 30 Carbine. No use for that one.
