I saw that Fri afternoon and I checked and got the unit 11-1 Bull hunt. I'll be spending some time behind the 300 RUM getting ready. Whats nice is that is only a 1/2 hour away and I'll be hunting.

I hunted Unit 9 last year, it was a real tough hunt weather nice, not many tracks and not many elk. Only saw one bull in 10 days of hunting. No cows at all. Good luck you will need it.
I drew a "late" cow tag in SE Idaho.

Yea, I plan on being there for the full two weeks of the hunt. Be so close I'll have spent a lot of time in there before season.
