If Ike will get out of the way and move west and south of New Orleans and the extreme southwest of Mississippi my smith can send my Mark V 06 back to me. I had a B&C Medalist stock which I had installed on my Mark V, bedded and free-floated with a Cera-Kote coating on receiver, barrel, bases, rings, trigger guard and floor plate. Here is a few pictures my smith sent me and you talk about one fine looking rifle. I can't wait to get it.

Very nice bullet. No hurricanes here in MI, have your gunsmith send it here. I will break in the barrel for ya.

Yeah, amen on that barbed wire, the man sure knows what he is doing for sure when it comes to making a Mark V shoot. He has put together four custom Mark V's for me and all four are under 1/2" shooters and two of them 1/4" and under.

Well, the storm is not coming our way so I talked to the smith and he is shipping the rifle to me Thursday and I should get it Monday or Tuesday. It ought to take 6 to 8 hours (having to let the barrel cool between shots) to shoot the loads I have loaded for my 30-06 and 375Wby, not to mention the box of Nosler custom ammo, while shut up in the house due to hurricanes and storms.   8)

When the storm is upon you, you can get out that 375 Wby., fire a few shots in the air. Then the storm might change its course or subside!!!

You know I could almost believe that when I shoot that thing at the range and it kicks up this dust clouds about 12 to 14 feet in the air off the dirt mound that is our back stop.  8)
