I am not finding any load data yet. Anyone here tried it? Have a call in to Hodgdon to see what they think as well.

Nothing here but I can't see why it wouldn't work. Supposed to be similar to IMR4350 so it should be decent.

Let us know what they say.

I called IMR (hodgdon) tech line about using 4166 in my .220 swift as there isn't any data out yet. They had suggestions for starting points. They'll likely due the same for you. The man I talked to was very knowledgeable and was very big on the Enduron powders. I sure wish I could find some of that 4451 in my area.

I have started working with 7977 and am happy so far. Hope the 4451 follows suit.

Sad. They didn't offer any suggestions about the combination. Wish QuickLoad was updated with the Enduron powders.

I have noticed in the 300 WSM, IMR 4350 runs a couple of grains more than the IMR 4451. Could one extrapolate based off of load data for IMR 4350 in the 325 and work closely with the chronograph to find their way? How do wildcaters do it?

I'm running close to what I load in 4350 but it's not exactly the same. Pity they're didn't test the new 4451 in the .325 WSM.
