Ok people, here's a pic of what scorpion projectiles is all about...

They shoot sub MOA repeatably out to very long ranges and the BC is ridiculous.

The possibilities for this type of projectile/rifle system will completely change the way we think about Extended LR shooting.

Very cool. Looks as if someone has applied the arrow fletching idea. An arrow will spin because the fletching has a certain degree of helical to them.
That is fascinating and I wonder how using rifling to already make a bullet spin and with that bullet design.......I wonder the possibilities. :idea:
 
So what's the story on these Fotis?
Last I heard of these was about 9-10 months ago and the designer sounded like he was giving up because he couldn't get the accuracy he wanted from them.
Did he get things sorted out?
 
It appears to me those bullets might limit case capacity by just a grain or two, or be difficult to feed through a standard magazine.

But an interesting concept, nonetheless.
