It should sprinkle every time I go shooting (pics)

Well I was able to sneak out today before the heat of the day set in and it went well.

.243 with IMR4350 and 85 Partitions .02" off the lands. This is the first time with the 85 Partitions.

41.5gr=1.195"
42.5gr=1.822"
43.5gr=.965"
I am going to load up some more with 43.5 grains and try seating the bullet deeper. Makes you feel good when the first time out gives you 1 moa.

270 with 130 Btips and 60.0 grains of H4831sc
I tried a few different torque dimensions today. Last time out with 30in/lb, I shot 1.118" so today tried 35 and 40 in/lbs.
35in/lbs=.405"
40in/lbs=1.448"
The last group of the day for the 270, I went back to 35 in/lbs but was shooting low. I am guessing that when I pushed down on the screws, I pushed on the scope a little bit because I did not have the rifle perfect on the bags. So I made an adjustment and am now back at zero.

I also shot the Sauer 202 just to double check zero and to shoot one more group before making up some hunting loads. With 56.0gr of H4350 and the 180 AccuBond, I shot a .797" group. I needed to move the scope 2 clicks left when I was done.

I also had my Ruger 30-06 with 165 Partitions and H4350.
58.3gr=1.204"
58.5gr=2.493"
58.7gr=1.692"
I plan on trying the 58.3gr with the bullet set deeper next time I shoot.

Last up was the 338wm. Today I went back to the 225 Interlock. Last time out, I shot a 1.4" group with it. That day, I was testing the action screws. Today I tested some different charges of RL19.
74gr=1.390" 2 touching 1 out
74.5gr=1.833"
75.0gr=1.134" with 2 touching and 1 out!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is the first time ever that I shot 3 different groups and they were all under 2".

I plan on seating the bullet deeper with 75.0gr next time out on this rifle also.

So the 270 is done along with the Sauer 202. The .243 shot 1MOA, the 30-06 and 338wm are also very close but in a pinch, could hunt tomorrow if need be.

Like I said before it was sprinkling at first but after shooting, the sun was out in my world. I did not set up the chronograph because of the weather.

That's great. Looks like your really closing in on some good loads and torque specs too.

My thought with the loads that I have complete so far, is to shoot one last group at 100 yards and then a few groups at 200 just to see where they hit. I don't see myself shooting over 75 yards this fall, but it would be nice to know what things look like at 200. I hope to shoot again next weekend.

Some of the best groups Ive shot are on misty days...not sure why.
Re your sight in...dial your gun about 1" high at 100.
You will have virtual perfect zero at 50-75 yds......AND you'll only be about 2" low at 200 yds.
It just plain gives you point blank behind the shoulder shots to 200 yds.

Looks like all the rifles have come together nicely and you're ready to put some meat in the freezer.

Looking forward to my new 243 arriving next week. Got some 85 grainers loaded and ready to go.

Very nice. Looks like you've found some accuracy in your 338! That's great stuff. I know how hard you've been working on it. Way to go.

The 243 and 270 look pretty darned good too.

Seems like your ready man. Now all you need is some deer!
