Decided to pick up a new rifle recently. Kimber 7mm-08 has been on my wish list for some time and when I saw the wood on this one it was too much to pass up. Now I just have to keep my daughters from trying to steal it.

Congratulations! And good luck with keeping that rifle away from your daughters. Daughters can be very persuasive with their dads. 'Tis a handsome rifle, indeed.

That is just lovely.

A 7-08 in Kimber's 84M action is just a match made in heaven. 140s at 2800 will do about whatever you need done.

Good luck withe daughters. Mine has taken posession of my Kimber 308. Someday I'll get it back.

I wouldn't bet on it!

I know it'll run about the same as my 7x57's but I really like the trim package Kimber makes in this rifle. It's an efficient cartridge that is pleasant to shoot and the rifle should be a joy to carry.

I love the 7 mm-08 and have a real fondness for a Kimber as well. Very nice rifle.

I ended up settling on a load of H4895 that puts a 140 AccuBond around 2860 fps. 200 yard group measured 1 1/4 inches. That's about as good as I need it and probably as good as I can see with a 2.5-8 power scope.
