Let Freedom Ring

I designed a new gong, a cow bell out of AR500 3/8" steel. It's 8.5" tall, 8.0" wide and 3.0" thick. Got it painted up and hung at 250 yards. Blew the dust off the 338 RUM and let Freedom Ring. It resonates well, you can hear it even at 250 yards.

AR500 3/8" steel.
The 338 RUM with a 250 gr PT at 3100 fps with punches through it at 100 yds. So does the 416 Wby with a 350 gr bullet at 2970 fps. This load also divits the back side of the gong at 250 yds.
Don't ask me how I know.
