Well I finally went off the deep end and ordered 3 boxes of 30-30 LEVR-EV. Hornady cartridges to use the bullets for my 307 Win. I pulled the bullets and I have to say they are pretty aerodynamic looking with boat tail and all. The powder they use is a double base with 35 grs of small flakes and really, really small flakes and very shiney. I was going to try some heavier loads of it in the 307 but it looks a little too high tech to play with safely. I'll just use standard 160 gr. 307 loading info. and powders and be happy with the B/C improvement. I'll do some comparisons between flat nose and the L.E. bullets and post them and the loads on the site. :wink:
