Congrats to lil' Chili and his mentor! Loved your story earlier, it put me right there. Thanks for paying our traditions forward. More big smiles and happy days ahead for you both!

Well guys thanks for the responses guys, Day 2 after getting to stay overnight with uncle we went out this morning knowing we had to be back by noon and get cleaned up for hockey. We went south looking for moose for my buddy and wouldn't ya know the first bush we walked thru, my nephew gets lucky again and this beuatiful WT buck jumps up. The buck ran 30 yrds and decided to see what scared him from his bed, big mistake as little chili said he droppped to a knee got steady and put one thru the kill zone. His rifle is a savage youth 243 win, with an up graded bushnell elite 3x9x40. His hand load is the go to 243 load of 42.5 grs of hy-brid 100, win cases and wlr primers...... and of course the 100 gr Partition to top it off. This buck spun and fell he didn't get 5 feet from where the shot was taken. When your hot your hot.LOL.
Little Chili has warmed the cockles of many a heart with his cherubic smile and eagle eye that will bring home the venison. He is definitely on a roll.
Woo hoo!! Congratulations again!! It is great to see him grow in experience and stature with your pictures. Great deer! I think "little Chili" is going to be "big Chili" before long
