When I got my Henry CCH .45-70 a couple years ago, it became one of my favorites. It looks, and shoots, very well. When I saw that Henry was introducing the CCH models in the pistol calibers, I knew my .45-70 needed a "little sister." So, here we are, in .45 Colt. Given that most of my deer hunting around here in KY is under 100 yards, that should be perfectly adequate. And as a handloader, it's quite possible to meet or exceed the .44 mag ballistics with the .45 Colt at those ranges.
