Load data for 260 rem and 125 PT's-anyone got a good one

I have tried some H414, results were so so, anyone got a magic combo for this, i have on hand some R19, IMR 4350, IMR 4064. Stear me in the right direction please. what primer would be best?

I'd like to see some info on the 125gr Partitions for the 260. I plan on working some up for this fall also.

When loading for my son's .260, I found it likes H-4831 with the 125gr. PT's. I tried H-4350 first off, but pressure signs showed much quicker than I hoped. Accuracy and velocity were darn respectable with the 4831, so I didn't persue any other's.

I could not find anything that my .260 liked with the 125 NPT.

onesonek, what charge are you using with H4831?

47.5 grs. Heath. my chamber/barrel might be a tad tighter than some. My velocity is up beyond what manual says it should be, hence pressure too. But case life is good, and they extract easily, so,,,,,,,,,,

What powders have you tried?

It's been a long time since I loaded the 125 gr PT which is definitely a great slug to shoot. I know I used IMR 4350 with it and also the 129 gr Hornady Spire Point, in recent years I used H 4350 and H 4831 SC with bullets in that weight range. Hope that helps.

What powders have you tried?

H414, H4350, H4831, imr4350, H4895

CCI200, CCI250, WLR, CCIBR2

I may try and revisit H4831 now that the rifle is bedded. It shot great with the 120 NBT and 129 Hornady prior to bedding though.

I am getting grear groups, at or under .75" with 47.8grs H4831 and the 129 Hornady SP.

I wouldn't hesitate giving RL-22 a try with the 125 PT's too.
The H-4831 is doing sub moa in this one as well, but not saying it couldn't be bettered.
With that and I get caught up from everything I'm behind on,,,,I intend to play around a bit more.
