I have been shooting a new bonded tipped bullet in my 15.75" center-grip 308 Winchester, XP-100 for a upcoming antelope hunt. Speer of all things...172 grain Impact bullet. With a chosen load and seated deep I still shot around half MOA off of a Harris bipod and small field bag, and it shot...

308 Winchester?

Yep 308... specifically with a 168 grain and a 175 grain Sierra match King...
My step brother did 12 Years as a Special Forces sniper. Every once in awhile he would come home and bring me a handful of m118lr boxes. They were supposedly a 175 grain boat tail hollow point loaded by some manufacturer and let me tell you it doesn't matter what you put them in they shot damn good

I put a few rounds of it through my pencil Barrel Ruger gen 1 and it shot good
