Load for 340 Wby with 265 gr NABLR

I just got some .338 265 gr NABLR bullets and I'd like to try them in my 340 Wby. I cant find any loads on the internet or Ammoguide. Help :?

You're welcome, I was looking at the 340 Wby not long ago wondering if I wanted to go that route and remember seeing the 265 gr data.

Interestingly enough, the Nosler loads appear to produce higher velocities than projected by QL. Still, here are the QL projections.

My buddy told me how to make the recoil of the 340 Bee mag feel like a 22 lr. Shoot a 460 Bee mag just before you shoot the 340. LOL

I run this bullet in my 338 Rum, and have been very happy with it from both an accuracy standpoint as well as terminal performance on game. Good luck!

I was curious about terminal performance. I had a 338 RUM for quite a few years and the 225gr Nos. AccuBond was excellent. I moved up to the 300 gr AccuBond and it was a little slow at downing game. Then the barrel wore out so I re-barreled to 300 RUM.
