Load problem

I have a 1895 Mauser Chilean military rifle that has a 5 round magazine.All rounds will load and cycle with the bolt except the last one.Seems to push the follower forward and binds the last round.I can't cycle the last round form the magazine.Has anyone had this problem or know what to look for to cure the problem?

Dismantle and play with the leaf spring position.
