Load Redevelopment after accurizing?

Hi there,

I have finally found a load that will give me MOA level accuracy in my Rem700 .300 WSM.

I am somewhat satisfied but I am considering having my barrel free-floated and the action glass bedded. Will this require load redevelopment (i.e., start from step 1)?

no, the rifle will still like the load, just with the floating/bedding work will shoot it more consistantly. at the most maybe a lil tweaking of the seating depth is all that may be required.

If the load shows no signs of pressure and you know it to be a safe load, after free-floating and bedding the rifle, there will be no danger there. As Ridge_Runner suggests, you may need to tweak the load (adjust the charge, adjust the OAL) because harmonics of the barrel will likely be changed. However, I would try the load as is first. If it gives acceptable groups, you're home free.
