loading A/B vs N/P

I am thinking about loading 150gr A/B for my .300 savage . I am currently Loading 150gr N/P using 41 gr of IMR 4895.

Should there be any difference in the amount of powder I use for the A/Bs

I will start low and work a load up but I do not have any reloading specs for the A/B?

Generally no. However just to be on the safe side drop a couple of grains and work up. Can't hurt.
