Got a new to me 30-30 carbine barrel for the Thompson Contender and put together some rounds with the 150 grain Nosler Ballistic tip.

I got to the shooting bench to sight it in.
Starting close with factory ammo I got it hitting where I wanted at 25 yards which usually gets me close at 100 and was surprised to find it hitting low at 100.
Dialed the scope and got it fairly close with the factory ammo and then tried three of the reloads.
Not a tack driver (possibly due to the guy pulling the trigger) but close enough for deer at 100 yards.

My 3030 liked the Sierra prohunter FN 150 over 34.2 gn of Varget. Also loaded at 2.595” which got me from 2-4” groups to 1.25” inch and it cycles fine through my action. Lee factory crimp.
