Loads for 30-378

Any one have any good loads for the Wheatherby 30-378 Mag. Looking for loads for deer and elk and possible bear.

I would look at the 200 gr AB or PT bullets with H1000, RL25 or IMR7828.
Also, go with Federal GM215M primers.

AccuarateReloading.com has some info on the 30-378Wby. Hodgdon's website does as well. The A.R. reloading pages have data concern the 150, 165, and 180 grain Ballistic Tip. The Hodgdon's data/rifle section has data fpr bullets ranging from 150-220 grain and including Sierra, Speer, Barnes and Nosler Partitions. I hopes this helps :wink:

Thanks for the info I will check them out. I think my next load will be in the new Barnes MRX & the XLC 165 and 180 bullets. They should deadly in that round.

Retumbo and AB 180s worked out best in mine. I don't recall the powder charge, but it was pushing the 180gr AB out to about 3500fps with 1inch groups.
