I was going through some old boxes in Dad's garage and found a taped up one with my name on it. I hadn't seen that stuff in 40 years or more. I remember this catalog, and spending time reading it, thinking about a collection of Marlins:
In those days we had only one Marlin, Dad's Mountie, the little 22 he used while teaching me to shoot. He still has that little rifle and shoots it still, in his 90's.
Fond memories of those good old days. At the time I was thinking about the future. Planning college, the Marines and more. Much of it happened more or less as planned. With a few side-trips and falls along the way.
Regards, Guy
