M48 chambering issues

I bought a used M48 in 6.5 creedmor. We have had issues chambering a round at times. The front of the bullet will sometimes stay pushed down far enough the bolt doesn't catch it. The bullet teeter totters a little when sitting in the receiver. The attached picture shows the bullet sitting at a slight angle no allowing the bullet to be caught. Anyone have and thoughts to resolve this issue?

Check your magazine follower. It may have slid forward or backward on the spring, making it bind up. Or. the spring may have moved in the floor plate. Or, the spring may need to be stretched out a little.

Either way, nosler should fix this.

Is it the first round or last round in the magazine or it doesn’t matter? The rear of the follower is snagging on something not allowing it to rise evenly.
