Well it is finally done. After stripping it and Cerakoting. I think it looks pretty awesome I got a couple things to touch and mounts next week.

It's in a Mcmilian Winchester Supergrade stock pillared Pre-64 action. 24" 1-9" #4 CM Pac-Nor.

That's what I was thinking was 225 AB. We will find out shortly.

That sure looks sharp Jake. What does it weigh as shown, and with the optics you have selected? That 225 AccuBond should be about perfect. What is the scope going on it Jake?

Haven't weighed it yet but I'm thinking 8. Gonna have it set up so I can swap my 2-10 Minox between it and my 6.5 until I decide what to put on it.

Jake, the .338-06 is coming along nicely. All the components are coming together and it should be a stone, elk killer when you are done.

Didn't Weatherby chamber for the 338-06 for a bit after it was legitimized by A-square? I believe Cooper Arms and a couple other companies chamber for it.

Several companies have chambered the 338-06. The AI version has never been legitimatized, to my knowledge.

I helped a buddy pack out a spike this year that he took with a 338-06AI. They pack quite a bit of punch for an 06 based round. Yours looks pretty dang slick. Best of luck to you on load development.
