Nice! Looks like the one residing in my safe. Mine is certainly a shooter and I've enjoyed it immensely. I had one of the push feed models before this, and it shot equally well.

My vote goes to Scotty. Posting all those M70s then I saw a Pre-64 on GB and I picked it up pretty cheap. I figure I might as well collect toys now before I go do something silly and find myself a lady.

I'm glad I got my econo-custom 98 to shoot or I'd be drooling all over the keyboard and having an internal dialogue with myself over how little money $950 is.
Broncrider, you obviously know that a woman can be awful hard on a guy's toy collection, but if you're as careful about choosing a woman as you would be choosing a rifle you can get one who won't want to decimate it. Ya gotta be careful, though because there are some ladies out there who will stake a claim on guns they like! I present my wife with a handgun now and then and that seems to keep her happy.

Sure, drop all the weight on the old guy. What'd I ever do to deserve such consideration? I was just admiring the looks of a few of my Model 70s when, "Biff!" "Pow!" "Bam!" along comes some gyrene who lays blame on me for his own predisposition to acquire quality.
