Made a big trade!!!

I had a 6-24 Nikon Monarch that I really had no use for so on a whim, I posted it for sale or trade on a few forums. After a day of lookers, I had two offers to trade for two different 444 Marlins. After talking to one of the guys, I found out that one of the 444s has been a safe queen and has not been fired in a few years. I just got an email saying that the rifle has been shipped and will be at my ffl dealers door step early next week. I will post pictures when I get it in my hands. I am pumped to get a lever action big bore in the house.

Yep a good old Marlin is a sweet rifle to have for sure!

Yup! Got one great cartridge the 444. Lot of power! 335 gr at 2100 fps!

Is yours an older microgroove?
