Heard this on the radio the other morning where college students were asked what they thought about socialism and if they thought it a good or bad thing.
Everyone of them answered in a very similar fashion. Basically they were all for it because it meant "fairness" and they also thought that everyone should have a "standard of living". Some also said that redistribution of wealth was a great thing.
Then they were asked to give a definition of what socialism was............................. nothing............. not one of them had any clue what it meant or how successful/unsuccessful it has been.
Funny that the my parents' generation understood what it was and also understood how powerful freedom is.
