So Dad calls me up today telling me a family friend sold him a Marlin model 27 rifle in 25-20 caliber. It belonged to this friends great grandfather and claims it was made around 1901. He got it for a steal and wants me to work up some ammo for it. It is an amazing gun and after a few mechanical hiccups are worked out, I plan to post how it goes up here. Any advice or load info is always welcome, that means you POP! Dad is very excited and so am I, this will be a fun gun!
