Minox binoculars and scope.

I am looking for a pair of binoculars for my seven year old son. He has had two different Tasco cheapy binoculars and after about 2 years they fall apart. I am hoping to spend under $80. They need to be small enough for a seven year old to hold for some glassing sessions. I was on camera land and saw a pair of Minox 10x25's ($70-80) and was wondering if any one here has any experience with them. I also noticed that you can get a Minox ZV-3 3-9x40 scope and the 10x25 binoculars for $249. Sounds like a pretty good deal and who couldn't use an extra scope?

Minox scopes and binos are a bargain. I've certainly appreciated their glass.

Minox binos are good ... clear and adjustments seam to hold well.
