Mistake in Nosler # 6 ??

I don't know if this is a mistake or just an abnormal situation. looking at the .300 RUM using Retumbo, it shows max. 98 gr. for a 165 gr. AccuBond and max. 99 gr. for a 180gr. Should'nt the lighter bullet handle a larger charge than the heavier one???

It is most likely correct. If you have one, check out Sierra #5 and the 300WSM. There are several loads listed where the 180gr have more powder than the 165gr.
 
I just talked to the ballistics guys and apparently there's some goofy pressure curve stuff going on that causes that. They said that's how the data tested out so I guess it's right! I agree though, it's not what you would expect. :?
