You know, you are correct. I don't have the "next step up in performance". That is also true with my 2013 truck, my Windows 10 computer, and my 74 y.o. body. Oh, and my RCBS Rock Chucker press is from around 1980. I guess I have a lot of "stepping up" to do. I am getting tired just thinking about it.

Yep! "old and slow", just like me. Patrick, I am not sure there is another western hunt in the cards for me. That really tempers the desire for another young and fast rifle/cartridge combination.

I have a Christensen Mesa lefty that does exactly what I need it to do. But if nosler had a lefty in 26 nosler the credit card would be singing.
