Once asked my wife which bullet, I had hand loaded looked better, the ballistic silver tip with the nickel or brass casing.... She thought I was crazy. Turned around and walked off...
As for the BST reducing pressure ect, It's seems true in my .338 Win Mag.
I have a hot (within some books) load I shoot. It's fine with the BST's but the bolt is a little sticky if I use the regular, non-coated ballistic tips.
I'd quit using them when I quit using Molly, but hearing what Mr. Nosler has to say, I think I'll go back to them.
