Shot some more loads this afternoon. The Nosler 85 Grain and 95 grain partitions opened up to 2" and 1.675".
Shot a 100 grain Partition load I made in 2006 for another rifle and got under an inch.

Put some Sierra 100 grain SBT's through and they went under an inch also the Sierras were the 1st three after I scrubbed the barrel with some Hoppes and a brush.

I've got a 95 grain Ballistic Tip load to add later.

Might have a lil bedding issue with the 2 and 1?

Or if it is the third one then barrel heat.

#1 in. #2 out, #3 in on both? Does this point to bedding? Not discounting the shooter error but may be a pattern developing with this rifle.

Yup bedding. Double grouping basically if it is persistently shooting like this. Try the old washer in the stock trick. maybe she wants to be free floated.

There is a pressure point up front in the Ruger Hawkeye plastic stock. I sanded it out and the 2-1 thing went away for the most part. Seems like a pretty small problem though. Looks to be a great shooter so far..
