Mossberg Patriot

Anyone have any opionions on the Mossberg Patriot. I picked up a wood stock .243 win at the lgs and it looked pretty solid and the price was very attractive, but do they shoot? I really liked the look and feel of the rifle.

My little brother has one. Shoots pretty well. Not a lot of experience with it but it seems like a solid rifle.

Although not the Patriot my nephew has the MVP in .308 and he loves it. 4th shot down the barrel took a nice doe at 150yds last year.

I haven't handled one, but it is a most attractive rifle to me. Far more attractive than the entry level Rugers/Savages/Remingtons and running right up there with the ADL class. I may end up with a 243 myself later this winter ( I always need an excuse for another coyote rifle! ha)
