photo 2 is .030 off the lands,, powder was the same in both pics 56.5gr of IMR 4350 bullet was a 165gr nosler Partition brass and primers were win.
these were four shot groups ,, pic 1 is 1.213'',,pic 2 was .348'' i had two in the same hole in pic 2,, the first three shots in both pics grouped but its the fourth shot in each pic that always wonders off,, why ??? i took plenty of time in between shots to let barrel cool.. im excited about pic 2 groups but the fliers are really bugging me,, by the way i didnt mesure the fliers in the group mesurments.. it seems im starting to find a col thats starting to work,, i started at .020 and it was not that good but .030 is showing something,, i know the pics are'nt that good ,,sorry,, the flier in pic 1 is at the top right and the flier in pic 2 is towards the bottom

Good job with your groups. I use a very similar load in two 30-06's I have owned. I use 165 gr. Partitions or Accubonds and 57.4 grs of IMR4350 with Winchester brass and Federal large rifle primers or CCI. Both bullets grouped 3 shot groups right at 1/2 to 3/4 inches. I had no pressure signs in either rifle and case life was excellent.

I do not know what your OAL is, but what I used in both of my rifles, a Remington Model 700 ADL and a Ruger #1B was at 3.375". This load chronographs out of the 26" barrel on my Ruger #!B at 2940 fps.

thanks,, ive made up some more rounds with the same col i was using,, but i added .5 gr more powder ,, 57gr of IMR 4350,, ive also made up some of your rounds to see how that works out,, i do believe my groups will take game but i would like to see them a little tighter if possible,,,once i get the 165s under controll ill start working on the 180s

You didn't say what rifle you were using, bedded? floated barrel? Scope? My standard load for a 30/06 is 58.5-58.8grs IMR-4350, 165gr bullet, WLR or 210M. Never had a pressure problem with 12 or more rifles and some cases fired 10 times or more. But I have had 165 partitions shoot very well at 100yds and very poorly at 200yds. Last year four of us went to Montana. All had 30/06s, three with 165gr partitions and one with 165gr AB. All shot MOA or better out to 300yds. I use a drop tube to pack the powder better in most cases. I have used cases made by Win, Nosler, Norma and Lapua, same load in all of them. Hodgdon listed 60grs as max last time I checked. Work up to my load if you please.Rick.

We've also used about the same load in at least 4 different 30.06. Remington, Winchester, Browning, and Springfield.

59gr H44350
Variety of brass, Military, Winchester Remington
Winchester and Remington primers.

165gr bullets from Nosler, Sierra, Hornady. Never had any pressure issues, and it shoots very well.
