It sounds as if you have instructed your browser to delete all cookies at the conclusion of your session. If you wish to have the site respond as you describe, you will need to instruct the browser to keep cookies until they expire. I prefer to clear my cookies and my history at the conclusion of each session, and I suspect that you have not set your browser to save your cookies. It would be worth checking.

Nope! I delete cookies manually, saveing the ones I want about 2X/week. I just relogged in to reply to your post and my computer has been on and the internet up since my last post. I hit 6-7 forums daily, and this one is the only one that acts this way........

Don't know what browser you are using. I usually use Firefox (currently using the current beta version) and have no difficulties. I have recently been using the latest iteration of Opera and Safari. Both work very well on this site, as well as working quite well on other sites. Testing the newest edition of Safari, automatic log-in w/o difficulty. Ditto with Opera 9.63. Maybe they are worth a try for you.
