My hunting buddy shot his first mule deer today, a forked-horn, nice and fat!
Used his ruger 30-06 loaded with 180 grain accubonds at about 2700 fps.
He took the shot at 118 yards, deer was quartering away from him , so he shot him in the neck :shock:
Bullet exit wound was a nice round hole about the size of a quarter, as far as I know, the AccuBond is sailing out over northern Utah right now! :grin:
