Well I have 2 pounds of N-150 lying around and decided to work up a load for my 22-250. Using a 50g Hornady V-Max, I varied the charge starting at 35g and working to 37g. Here is the best 5-shot, 100 yard group (35.5g)velocity average 3880fps

The target is a 1" diamond (15 per 8.5" x 11" page) and can be downloaded at http://www.reloadbench.com The Group Measures .3585" center-to-center. What do you all think? A Keeper???

VV powders are certainly the most consistant shot to shot that I have tried. I use VV150 in my .260ai w lighter bullets w/ accuracy like your .22-250 shows. I am working w/ VV160 in several other calibers right now. Good stuff, but sometimes hard to find & a bit pricey.

A keeper? You call that a keeper? I would never post such a huge group! :p

Awesome man!

MS,
Awesome !!
I use quite a bit of Viht.......yes in my 22-250 I use the N-140 with 55gr Blitz-Kings. My .260 with the N-140. My .280 loves N-165 with one inch groups @ 200yrds and 150grn Silver Tips. I've actually had decent groups with the N-165 out of my .300RUM. It's great powder, just difficult to find much data on, and expensive to experiment with.
