My Mates .204

My mate has just taken delivery of his new Rifle.It is a .204 calibre and has been built by a gunsmith from England called Norman Clark.It has a Pacnor match grade barrel,glass bedded R P A action,Quadlite Bolt,2 stage Quadlite trigger,Macmilan A5 stock,Nightforce nx5 8-32x56 scope,weaver mounts and rail and a T8 sound moderator

What does the sound moderator do?

Yes its very heavy i wouldn't like to carry it round for long ,i would say it weighs around 14 pounds as suggested.A sound moderator is basically a silencer which is necessary when shooting on forrestry commision land due to health and safety rules.But it also reduces recoil and hence improves accuracy.From what i understand you cannot use Silencers in the states :?:
