Wouldn't everyone agree that this is the best time for Nosler to introduce a 416 300-350 grain AB or E-tip?

Now you sound like somebody else we know that wants a 220gr AccuBond or Partition for the .323 caliber. Now just so you understand, the 220gr must come first

That's nice Fotis. I like the grain in that stock. I can see why you'd want to grab on to it when you saw it. Nice scope also. Is it a 26" barrel?

I'm with you there brother. It's probably been 10 years now that we have been asking for that. I know it was on the old website when that topic was brought up a few times.

Very nice indeed. I need to add a 416Wby to my collection now. The 460 and 378 need companionship :)

It won't be long now though.

GS custom is in the USA now. I communicated with Gina (Gerard's daughter) and Anthony her husband. see here.

FOTIS, I am not sure that I will ever forgive you (maybe) for bring up the GS Custom bullets. I mean I had a 150gr in a 30-06 turn in all most 3100fps with a GS and it shot good. Now you got me thinking about my 8mm Rem Mag    I guess I will forgive you for always enabling me.

Fotis, congratulations on a very good looking rifle.
Looking forward to the photos and range report on it.

Blessings,
Dan

According to Q/L (thank you FOTIS) the 180gr GS Custom has a BC .463, 4175ft pounds of energy at muzzle using IMR7828, still 2000ft pounds of energy at 560yds, 2.4" high at 100yds with a zero of 270yds, -5 at 350yds not bad not bad at all - plus still moving at 2174fps at 600yds and the GS will open up at 1500/1600fps. Now if GS will return my email about a USA distributor, we will see, because the GS out performed the TSX and TTSX on terminal results on deer when I used them alternating during a 3yr period. GS is the only monolithic bullet that acts terminally like a premium bonded bullet that I have tried on game being more consistent on opening up at different distances and especially the longer shots. Also, I have been able to duplicate with my Big 8 the velocities Q/L estimated and in one case even higher velocities better. This will be truly interesting when I get some.

I know they rock man! Only the bands make contact with the bore so you can smoke the GS's. A guy in Accurate reloading is getting 3200 fps with the 330 GS HV in the 416 Bee

You got to be kidding!!!!!!    Do you know how much power that is :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:    6,821ft pounds of energy!

Wow! They sound pretty cool..

Let us know when we can get them. A has almost talked me into trying them....

I am telling you fellas these things shoot! "low drag , high speed!"

Well, I have my name added to GS Custom Bullet list to notify when they start production in the US. I will wait till then, the prices are to high for the bullets shipped from South Africa. Including shipping from South Africa for a box of 180gr is 87.00 and one box of the 170gr is 83.00 and I would need at least two boxes of either one to do proper load work and have enough for practice at distance and final sight-in. I will wait

PS - I will say though, if Nosler produces a 220gr bullet for the .323 I will not buy the GS Custom bullets, because I think the 220gr is optimum for the Big 8 even though the 180gr or 170gr GS would be outstanding.

I would like to see them compete with CEB and Barnes. I've never shot them but I've read they are about as accurate as a mono bullet get's. I'd like to see more VLD type offerings as well and I think once they are here they will have more request for the same.

YES, I would agree.

Mike I talked to Anthony at great length yesterday. They will be assuming production very very soon. He will let me know.

I can tell you that the GS's are very accurate and great killers from my rifles.

BTW Gerard was making these in South Africa way before other companies began copying his grooves boattails etc.
