Nice gun and it will be a lot of fun.
I think also your title " My, Oh my God...Obama got elected, gun" is not in good taste because it uses God's name in vain and I think it would have been better stated so as to not imply wrong intent - "Oh my, Obama elected - got a gun before they are Band"

Well..... I don't want to start anything here but.....
If you don't like getting your toes stepped on then put on a pair of boots.
If the thought of Obama signing a bill into law that limits or destroys your second amendment rights didn't offend you and the title of my post did I don't know what to say.
There have been multiple "got my Obama gun" statements on this site and others.
If you don't understand the intent of the topic or that statement, then I think your ears have been plugged and your eyes have been blinded durring the presidential campain. Who knows maybe you agree with Obama and you supported his bid for the White House.... I don't know....
Maybe you think that the "black" rifles should be banned...... That is Ok thats your right as an American.
Maybe some people might get offended by the "got my Obama gun" statement. They have the right to be offended. Some people are offended by Christmas trees in the office and then there are people who are offended by totem poles. If all this political correctness crap continues you won't be able to wear a cross on a necklace, a beanie on your head, a fish simble on your shirt, a turbin on your head, a red dot on your forehead and on and on.
I get offended by political correctness. There is usually nothing correct about politics.

My research indicates that Biden (VP-elect) has been very instrumental in gun control issues. Obama is not that far behind. That I do not like....personally. 8)

Exactly, and on a personal note I did not give 21 years of my life to the USAF so my next Commander in Chief could change/manipulate the constitution I swore to defend!

My son proudly swore that same oath just recently.
It is one thing to say you believe in this country but it means a little more when you swear to defend it with your life so others can keep enjoying the freedoms we have.

And for me, coming up on 19 yrs in the USAF, I get a little agitated when I see people take got granted the freedoms that have been provided to them by those who served, whether they volunteered or were drafted.
I am also a firm believer that those who have not served in the military (for what ever reason) owe their past and current freedoms/rights to those that have served, and not to any elected official. If you disagree, that's your right, doesn't mean I want to hear about.

I was a combat medic in 1968 US army. I was not offended by the Obama statement just thought it could be stated clearer but was offended by the loose use of God's name and do not apologize for that. Yes, I do not like anyone taking away my right to have a gun. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I went out to a landing today to see how it shoots and do a rough sight in.
I just rested on the back corner of my truck. The weather here is cold, raining and hailing. I was shooting when is stopped raining. When we get some decent weather I plan to shoot from a bench and see what kind of groups the rifle is capable of. I don't plan on hunting with it, I am just curious. I could legaly hunt deer with a 5 round mag. I might get a few strange looks though. :grin:
Anyway the spinning target is 3/8 hardened steel and is 3" in diameter.
It's trashed now. As you can tell I didn't have any trouble adjusting the EOTech sight.

Believe it or not the barrel is 17.4 inches long. The action is in the rear of the stock and the cases are ejected through a port at the front of the gun. If you stand in one place they will fall into a bucket. :grin: If you look closely at the picture you will see a door at the end of the forearm.
I think it should perform pretty well I was looking at the specs in the manual and it has a 7" twist :shock:
