i only neck size the cases i shoot in my boltactions. just wondering how many firings can be expected when next sizing your brass vs full length sizing? some of my .25/06 and .270 brass probably have 5-6 firings on them. i rarely have to trim them and they still feed great.

As long as you aren't switching from gun to gun after neck sizing, most brass will last a long time. Check the cases for all the usual stuff, including stretching at the casehead (though neck sizing reduces this issue for the most part), neck cracks, and such. If you start seeing some cracking, you can anneal the necks - Hornady sells a kit for this, or there are plenty of folks here to tell you how to do it. Other than that, if the brass is good, and it shoots well, just keep shooting!
