Need a 223 load???

I need some load data for a 223 using a 52gr hollow point and Benchmark powder. I've got an older book and there is no data listed for that bullet. Thanks in advance!

Nosler #7 starts this load at 24.5 grains (3285 FPS), then up to 25.5 grains (3411 FPS / Most accurate load), max load is 26.5 grains (3540 FPS).

I am running 24.9grs with a 52gr Berger HPV at 3270fps, and 24.7grs with the 52gr A-Max at 3260fps. Also Benchmark, Lapua brass and BR4 primers in a 24" barrel.

Have some 52gr CC's to load this summer. Tell us how it worked.

26.5 grains of CFE-223 with 55gn Nosler Varmegeddon. Good for one ragged hole groups at 100 yards in my AR.

I've had great luck with 52gr SMK and 26.5 grs of W760 out of mutiple AR's.

Are your 52 gr. HP's Nosler? 25.6 gr. of Benchmark (the powder you asked about) with Win brass and CCI 450's works for me. Total cartridge length 2.260". Not a max load, don't need it.

Hodgdon's website has more loads for Benchmark. Be careful with load info you get from individuals like me on internet forums!! :roll: :roll:

25-ish grains and Federal match primers. I settled on 25.2 grains, under 1/2" in two separate rifles, both with 12" twists.

Im using 26g benchmark with 52g AMAX. Accuracy is 5 shots touching at 100 yards from a bench.velocity is 3400fps.rifle is a ruger target with 26" barrel.
