Need a 300 win mag recipe

I like 75.0gr of RL-22 for the 180gr bullet. It is a real tack driver in my Rem 700 with 5r rifling.

Happy Shooting

I am having outstanding accuracy and velocities around 3120-3130fps using 83grs of H1000, win brass and Rem 9 1/2M primers using the 165gr Sierra HPBT. Low extreme spread and low deviation. (please start at 80grs and work up but I am showing no signs of excessive pressure in my Savage). This is a compressed charge filling the case just to the bottom of the neck. It posses no problem when loading.

Case capacity is different with different brands of brass.

I use WW cases seems to hold a little extra powder.

Been using IMR 4350 for many years in my 300 win mag Browning BAR.

I have always used 72.0 with 180gr Flatbase bullets either the Speer Mag-Tip, Speer Grandslams or the Nosler Protected Point.

I agree. I load the same brass also.

Additionally lets not forget seating depth and case capacity.
